Nimblo Cloud, operated by Cloudforest Co., Ltd., has officially received a Type 1 telecommunications business license (No. TEL1/2569/029) from the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), effective from July 27, 2026.
What a Type 1 license means
Under Section 7 of the Telecommunications Business Act B.E. 2544, a Type 1 license is for telecommunications operators that do not own their own telecommunications network, in businesses of a nature suitable for open provision.
Holding this license places Nimblo Cloud on the register of telecommunications operators supervised by the NBTC, subject to the service quality and consumer protection standards the NBTC sets.
